Reporting to the Asset Care Area Team Leader , this role will play a key part in our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following: Role Responsibilities: • Responsible for performing fabrication and welding tasks to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of process equipment and infrastructure within the brewery. • Responsible for repairing and maintaining structural components, fabricating new equipment or modifications, and ensuring compliance with international welding codes and standards. • Perform high-quality fabrication and welding tasks to repair or manufacture equipment, components, and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with international standards. • Fabricate and repair structural components for utilities systems, such as piping, tanks, and HVAC supports. • Assist in modifications and installations to improve the reliability and performance of site infrastructure. • Support production and maintenance teams by addressing fabrication and welding needs promptly and effectively. • Contribute to improvement initiatives by participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other problem-solving activities. • Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other Lean activities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance and fabrication operations. Experience and Key Attributes: • Prior experience in a fabrication/welding role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Extensive installation activities can be considered equivalent. • Recognised qualifications in Fabrication, Welding, or a related discipline (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). • Proven experience in welding and fabricating components for process equipment and infrastructure, including compliance with international standards. • Experience using modern tools and techniques for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. • Fluent in English, both verbal and written. • Full UK Working Rights.
