Responsibilities include leading and prioritizing tasks for workshop team, attending production meetings, maintaining a positive work environment, training and mentoring team members, conducting daily meetings for instruction and communication, performing in-process inspections to maintain quality, troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with other departments for seamless production, monitoring and optimizing team efficiency, upholding safety practices and regulations, actively participating in workshop projects, driving productivity improvements, and maintaining a positive attitude and safety culture. Qualifications include demonstrated leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead projects, excellent communication and mentoring abilities, basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word), high school diploma or equivalent, welding certification preferred, proficiency in blueprint reading, flexibility to work across workshop departments, and capability of workshop shutdown/startup procedures.
