Qualifications & Skills • Understands workmanship standards and can pass related tests with some training. • Able to read weld symbols and dimensions; may require help with GD&T and datums.Working knowledge of military, AWS, and other weld codes; may seek guidance for complex specs. • Capable of using existing setups to fixture weldments and operate manual equipment like mills, saws, and cranes with minimal support.Familiar with basic manufacturing and weldment correction techniques; problem-solving support may be needed. • Basic understanding of NDT processes; Level II required for deeper interpretation • Proficient in GTAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding methods and able to pass qualification tests with limited assistance.
