ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Perform Welding Operations: • Manufacture product that meets quality requirements. Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection. • Meet time and schedule standards for assigned task • Keep equipment clean and maintain proper fluid levels • * Use Tig welder to assemble fabricated metal products in and efficient manner to maximize production • Assemble, hold to tolerance and manufacture product that meets quality requirements, inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection • Return all fixtures and tooling upon job completion • Advise supervision of issues that arise • Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance • Communicate effectively with other workers to direct personal workflow • Identify set-up reduction opportunities and Lean process opportunities and communicate to proper 6s team lead • Properly use the E2 management system to meet all company standards ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES: • Assume other responsibilities as required • *PRIMARY PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS: ** • Meet the required delivery dates for all assigned jobs • Meet customer delivery requirements • Meet quality requirements of all assigned processes • Conduct all operations in a safe manner QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Ability to weld thin gage material with a good penetration and a quality appearance • Ability to operate a Tig welder with Mig welding knowledge • Basic math skills • Ability to operate various shop tools including hand tool and rolls • Ability to read & understand blueprints and technical documents commensurate with machine operation • A genuine belief in continuous improvement and disciplined processes and a willingness to analyze, challenge and change processes, if needed, to create a more efficient environment and culture • Organizational and time management skills • Self starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize work day/projects independently • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to use various inspection gages • Basic computer knowledge EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED: • Valid Driver’s License PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
