Foam Welder

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Foam Welder. The Foam Welder will be responsible for welding foam materials using specialized techniques and equipment to create durable, precise, and quality foam products. This role requires an understanding of various foam welding techniques, a commitment to safety standards, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Weld and fuse foam materials using appropriate welding equipment and techniques. • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders to determine the correct welding methods and foam types to be used. • Ensure that the foam welding process results in clean, strong bonds that meet industry standards and project specifications. • Operate specialized welding equipment such as hot air welders, glue guns, or other tools designed for foam materials. • Maintain quality control by inspecting welded foam products for defects, ensuring alignment, and confirming overall product integrity. • Work with foam types such as polyurethane, polyethylene, and other materials, adjusting welding methods as needed. • Ensure proper safety practices are followed, including wearing safety gear and maintaining a safe working environment. • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality. • Collaborate with other production team members to meet project timelines and requirements. • Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring that foam materials are stored and handled properly. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven experience with foam welding or related manufacturing processes. • Familiarity with foam materials and their properties. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess and ensure product quality. • Knowledge of welding equipment and maintenance procedures. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with foam welding. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to handle specialized tools and equipment. • Familiarity with safety standards in a manufacturing environment. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in welding or related fields is a plus.
