Responsibilities: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary by site. • Performs repairs and maintenance on front and read load, and roll-off containers, cuts/weld repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication. • Grinds metal parts after welding • Weld steel and aluminum components using Mig, Tig and arc welding equipment. • Bends steel components using a break ad shear. • Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch. • Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers. • Installs lids and wheels on containers. • Paints repaired and/or new containers. • Performs on-site repairs at customer locations. • Follows all safety policies and procedures. • Completes required paperwork. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. • Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management. Typical Physical Requirements: The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual requirements of this position will vary. • Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds. • Climb into and out of equipment. Experience, Education, Certification: Required: • Four years welding experience. • Use of computers to update assigned work orders. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school. , • Six months of prior welding experience or a technical diploma or certification in welding from an accredited institution. , • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
