Licensed pipe fitter, Welder

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled licensed Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipefitting, welding, and mechanical systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in various settings, including commercial and industrial environments. The Pipefitter will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that all installations meet safety standards and specifications. We specialize in many different trades from plumbing, pipe fitting, electrical, sprinkler fitting, stainless and carbon steel welding, orbital welding. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, steam, and other fluids. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout and installation procedures. • Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG, and stick welding as required. • Perform minor plumbing tasks. • Must be willing to perform plumbing sprinkler fitting and other task • Conduct pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly tasks as needed. • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Carry out maintenance tasks on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines. • Adhere to ASME codes & standards during all installations and repairs. • Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols. Skills • Proficient in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, stick welding, and soldering techniques. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. • Experience reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installation planning. • Familiarity with HVAC systems and fire sprinkler fitting is preferred. • Knowledge of pipe threading techniques and tube bending processes. • Ability to use calipers for precise measurements in pipe fitting tasks. • Experience in rigging for safe lifting of heavy materials or equipment. • Background in construction or manufacturing environments is advantageous. • Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Welder- 2nd Shift

About the position Responsibilities • Perform routine hand-welding or robotic welding on standard and near-standard assemblies. • De-burr, grind, and fit components prior to welding. • Grind and polish finished elements as required. • Block jig or position parts prior to welding. • Assist other operators in their work as directed/required. • Utilize manufacturing information to determine necessary parts/inventory, jigs/fixtures, and obtain materials from stock areas. • Complete necessary preparation work such as wiping, degreasing, de-burring, or grinding of components. • Operate various welding and metal-fabrication equipment as directed. • Be responsible for maintenance of equipment and complete necessary maintenance check sheets. • Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary. • Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, including the use of proper PPE. • Assist team in achieving plant and department goals by flexing when needed. • Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school. • Six months of prior welding experience or a technical diploma or certification in welding from an accredited institution. • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Nice-to-haves • 1-3 years' weld experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. • Knowledge of basic shop math and welding symbols. • Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings, and/or engineering drawings.
