SENIOR WELDER (CLASS CODE 1961)

Supervisory and skilled journeyman level duties in welding, brazing, heating and cutting metals, using acetylene and electric arc welding equipment; and related work as required. EITHER: Three (3) years of full-time experience as a welder, or apprentice welder. OR: Completion of a recognized welding training course* and one (1) year of full-time experience as a welder or apprentice welder. • Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education claimed by the applicant to qualify for this classification.
