Job Description: A FCAW 3G/4G Structural Welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions. The requirements for the position are as follows: Must have FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding experience and ceramic backing strip experience. Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on 3G/4G FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding test with the 3G position welded with uphill progression with ceramic backing and 4G entirely in the overhead position.
