We are seeking Experienced Structural Welders in Pascagoula, MS MUST HAVE SHIPYARD EXPERIENCE AND BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MANDATORY OVERTIME! Structural Welder Must have ceramic backing strip experience and pulse arc. Working 40 to 48 hrs/wk, after 40 hrs time and a half will be paid. Long Term Work! Job Description: A FCAW 3G/4G Structural Welder welds together structural metal components as specified by blueprints, work orders, or oral instructions. The requirements for the position are as follows: Must have FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding experience and ceramic backing strip experience. Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on 3G/4G FCAW 3G/4G Structural welding test with the 3G position welded with uphill progression with ceramic backing and 4G entirely in the overhead position. Requirements: • Able to work in Pascagoula, MS • Pass a urine drug screen and physical. • Pass hands on FCAW and ceramic backing strip weld test Testing- 1. 3G Flux 045 1” carbon steel beveled plate using Ceramic Backing Strip. 2. 4G Flux 045 1” carbon steel beveled plate- Root/Fill/ Cap Need 2 good bends on each! A Pipe Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welds on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping systems. Work is performed using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) and other approved welding processes in accordance with industry standards.
