Description: Welders accomplish production welding aboard ship vessels and badges by applying appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, or repair parts of metal or other “weldable materials”. • Duties and responsibilities • Cuts and prepares parts using band saw and plasma torch. • Must meet company quality, attendance, and productivity requirements. • Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by the • Company, State, Federal and Local provisions. • Prepares parts and fixtures for scheduled job. • Operates hand grinders as needed. • Visually inspects work and parts fit up on an on-going basis. • Responsible for the care of the welding machines and any company owned equipment • that is used during the repair process. • Installs or repairs equipment, such as lead pipes, valves, floors, and tank linings. • Removes rough spots from workpiece, using portable grinder, hand file, or scraper. • Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions Requirements: Welders work as part of a team and must follow safe work practices to minimize the risk of danger to themselves and others. This position is 100% outdoors and sometimes in confined places, within a range of weather conditions. This can sometimes be unpleasant. Hours of work can vary greatly depending on the business needs and special projects. The physical work demand for this position are classified as This position requires moderate to considerable physical effort working with average or heavy weight material, not to exceed fifty pounds (50 lbs). This position also requires standing for extended periods of time. The incumbent must have the ability to carry objects; perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching; and frequent bending and twisting of the torso.

Atlantic Track is seeking to fill an Assembler position at our Memphis, TN facility. Job Duties • MUST BE ABLE TO WELD • Ability to read and follow work instructions. • Think critically on how parts go together. • Read and understand blueprints (with training) • Operate Cranes and Jib Cranes • Assist other employees, work collaboratively to accomplish goals • Alert/Advise supervisors or engineers when there are problems. • Must have a safety and quality focused mindset. Job Overview: D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking highly skilled and experienced Millwrights and Welders to join our maintenance division team for our Fall shutdowns beginning in September. This role will involve maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across a variety of sectors, including sawmills, and steel mills. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical systems, a strong understanding of welding techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: • Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other industrial machinery in coal mining operations, sawmills, and auto plants. • Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for repairs and fabrication of parts, structures, and equipment as needed. Conduct welding inspections to ensure high-quality, safe work. • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery and equipment. • Installation & Commissioning: Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment in mining, sawmill, and automotive production lines. • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and work in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring that work areas are always safe and clean. • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and management to ensure efficient operations and quick resolution of mechanical issues. • Problem Solving: Apply strong troubleshooting skills to identify mechanical failures and implement effective solutions. Required Qualifications: • Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience. • Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in coal mining, sawmill, and/or automotive plant environments. • Strong welding experience, particularly in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with the ability to work with a variety of materials (steel, stainless steel, etc.). • Deep understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems. • Valid driver’s license, Millwright Certification, or equivalent trade qualification required. • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces, high elevations, and extreme temperatures. Must be capable of lifting heavy parts and materials as needed. • Strong troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail and precision. • Must adhere to all safety protocols and always demonstrate a commitment to a safe working environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in steel mills, sawmills, or automotive manufacturing settings. • Familiarity with automation and robotic systems. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics. • Experience in the installation and commissioning of heavy machinery.
