Job Profile The company is looking for a Welder to join its team. Education Level • High School Diploma or GED Work Experience • Minimum 1 year of welding experience (preferred) License/Certification • Certified Welder License (preferred) Duties/Responsibilities • Ensure Safety First, Safety Always, and meet or exceed Quality expectations. • Inspect the equipment to be utilized before the shift starts. • Maintain machines and the cleanliness of the workstation. • Perform Quality Control. Visually inspect welds for defects—report defects to the Supervisor. • Perform welds to meet all company and code requirements. • Select, install, and position required fittings following Standard Work Instructions. • Set and operate weld machines to the manufacturer’s specifications, meeting time budgets for finished product. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Ability to operate a MIG welder and set parameters as needed. • Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions. • Ability to record data accurately and on time. • Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs. • Ability to stand to complete work for most/all of the scheduled shift • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish departmental goals and improve operations. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work in various environmental conditions (heat, humidity, cold). • Knowledge of welding and metal properties, electrical equipment, and manual tools/gauges.
