Overview This position will use their skillset to mig weld metal and/or components used in the production of Pad, Pole, or 3Phase transformers while considering the values and goals of ERMCO Responsibilities Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions with regards to welding various metal and/or fabricating components to assemble distribution transformers as specified by layout, blue print, diagram, work order, welding procedures, or oral instructions using various welding equipment. Must have prior training/experience and must ensure safe and proper start-up, operation, maintenance, and shut-down of equipment. Repeatedly lift/move material that is 50+ lbs. with or without assistance from lifting devices. Handle material and use hand/power tools as needed to perform required tasks. Ensuring conformity of all welds and final products assembled to ERMCO standards. Follow all ERMCO safety polices and procedures.
