Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, fabrication, and assembly of precision tools and dies used in various manufacturing processes. This role requires expertise in working with CAM programming, CNC machines, and precision measuring instruments to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Duties • Design and fabricate tooling components for production processes using milling machines and stamping presses. • Utilize CAM programming to create precise machining programs for CNC equipment. • Assemble and test tools and dies to ensure they meet specifications and performance requirements. • Employ precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to produce accurate tooling solutions. • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to tooling performance and production efficiency. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. The estimator will be responsible for bidding jobs and coming up with the process of how to flow them through the shop most efficiently using the available equipment. We are searching for a self starter and someone who is competitive. this person needs to be self motivated to thrive in this environment as an estimator.
