Located in Kearney, NE, Delux Manufacturing is a manufacturer of grain drying equipment for the on-farm and commercial agricultural industry. We are looking for quality people, like you, to apply for our Production Welder Position. This employee will set up and perform welding processes, on production parts or assemblies, according to drawings or blueprints. The process may consist of galvanized or mild steel welding using MIG, TIG or arc welding. Employees are expected to be able to select proper welder configuration based on type of welding being done. Be able to use plasma or acetylene torch to cut steel. Welders keep accurate time & quantity counts for specific production work orders. Use forklifts to move or transfer parts as required. Use forklift to unload receiving trucks. Follow company & machine safety policies. The employee will be asked to do other duties that the supervisor or management sees fit. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements - Fabricate and weld metal components using various tools and equipment - Perform pipe threading and installation according to codes and standards - Operate machining equipment to shape and finish metal parts - Assemble and build structures, equipment, and machinery - Use forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials and finished products - Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets - Install ductwork for HVAC systems Qualifications: - Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role - Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings - Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding and fabrication - Experience operating machining equipment is a plus - Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments accurately - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects - Forklift certification is a plus Full-time 10 hour days: Mon.-Thurs.
