Role Overview – Fabricator 1 ($29-$32) The Fabricator 1 at Battle Born Welding, LLC is the right hand of the Shop Foreman. This role is responsible for executing welding, layout, and fabrication tasks to ensure high-quality and precise shop production. This role focuses on building structural and ornamental components, following blueprints, and maintaining efficiency in the shop. The Fabricator 1 must have a strong understanding of shop tools, layout techniques, and welding processes while working under the guidance of the Shop Foreman. Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding • Perform layout work accurately to support the fabrication process. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate parts correctly. • Execute MIG and dual shield welding with precision. • Blend and finish fabricated components for smooth, professional results. • Assist in fabricating and installing stairs, handrails, guardrails, platforms, and other ornamental pieces. • Ensure all fabrication meets plumb, level, square, and dimension standards. Shop Support & Workflow • Assist the Shop Foreman in organizing and prioritizing daily tasks. • Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials. • Set up, adjust, and maintain fabrication tools and machinery. • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines and quality expectations. • Assist in rigging and moving heavy components as needed. Safety & Compliance • Adhere to safety standards and company safety protocols. • Use PPE properly and ensure a safe work environment. • Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and scissor lifts safely and according to certification guidelines. • Follow all material handling and machine operation safety procedures.
