Location: BART Welding & Fab – Lodi, CA Typical Duties: Will include, but are not limited to: • Set-up welding machine (amperage, voltage, speeds, and pulse) • Layout job according to best shop practice • Clean up and prepare material for welding • Mig weld per specified drawings • Grind welds, repair any imperfections, and clean up product • Request Quality Manager sign off • Maintain clean and safe working environment Requirements: • Fabrication background • Ability to mig weld 1/8” – 1 ¼” steel • Ability to safely and accurately operate vertical band saw, grinders/cutting wheels, calipers, mm tape measurer, etc. • Familiarity with blue prints & weld symbols • Familiarity with forklift and overhead crane • Must be able to work overtime as needed • Physical ability to sit, stand, and/or change resting positions frequently over an extended period of time Qualified applicants must send resumes to careers@bartmanufacturing.com and reference the job title.
