Position Summary Engineered Products is seeking an experienced Welder I to perform high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on structural components used in pallet rack systems. The Welder I is expected to work independently, interpret fabrication drawings, and contribute to meeting production standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components based on established procedures and standards. • Fabricate and assemble metal parts using blueprints and production specifications. • Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct weld sizes, lengths, and quality. • Conduct routine inspections of welds to meet quality requirements. • Set up and operate welding equipment and fixtures with minimal supervision. • Use measuring and layout tools (e.g., tape measure, square, gauges) for accuracy. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. • Maintain great attendance. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required.
