Job Summary: Tesseract Fabrication is looking for a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role is responsible for producing high-quality finished products through precision welding, fabrication, and finishing techniques. The Welder/Fabricator plays a vital role in ensuring product quality, adhering to specifications, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. This position demands technical knowledge, precision, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. A successful candidate will take ownership of their work, follow established processes, and collaborate effectively to meet production goals in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities and Qualifications: • Perform high-quality welding and fabrication of stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials while adhering to process controls, safety practices, and qualification limits. • Accurately complete documentation such as weld logs, job routings, and maintenance records. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions to ensure precise execution. • Set up, operate, and maintain GTAW (TIG), resistance welding, and brazing equipment. • Conduct proper pre- and post-weld cleaning and preparation. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, performing basic maintenance and reporting issues. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity (must pass Visual Acuity test). • Apply basic math and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, team-based environment. • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of weld symbols and joints, formal welding education or certifications, and 1–2 years of welding experience. • Hands-on work in a temperature-controlled facility with exposure to hot materials, intense arc light, dust, and chemicals such as solvents and etching solutions (protective equipment provided). • May include standing or sitting for long periods, repetitive motion, and occasional heavy lifting. • Supportive, team-oriented atmosphere focused on safety, quality, and continual improvement.
