Overview We are seeking a skilled Travel Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding processes, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our projects meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. This position is temporary and will be based in South Carolina starting June 16th Pay is as follows $30 hour/ 100day per diem. Must book your own lodging. Job is 2-3 weeks long with hours ranging between 10-12 hour days. Gas reimbursed for travel MUST HAVE SAFETY HARNESS. Working at heights from scissor lift building a 15' platform. knowledge in operation of ariel equipment is a plus. Safety certifications osha 10 is recommended but not required. You will have to pass a D1.1 structural test before hire. Test will be scheduled. 6010 open root, 7018 out. Must pass Drug Screen. Duties • Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including SMAW (Shield metal arc welding) • Utilize plasma cutting equipment to cut metal components as required • Operate hand tools and machinery, including grinders, zip discs, oxy fuel torch to fabricate parts • Build structures and components according to specifications and blueprints • Conduct pipe threading for various applications within the fabrication process • Collaborate with team members on construction site projects to ensure timely completion • Be able to read a tape measure and square equipment • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols Qualifications • Proven experience in welding and fabrication processes • Proficiency in plasma cutting, machining, and operating hand tools • Familiarity with SMAW techniques is preferred • Experience working on construction sites is advantageous • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us as a Fabricator/Welder where your skills will contribute significantly to our projects' success while working in a dynamic environment.
