See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: As part of the talented Lowe Boats team as a Welder, you will Lay out, fit, and weld fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble aluminum boats and subassemblies At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. Essential Functions: • Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. • Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment. • Other duties may be assigned. • Responsible for following the quality systems procedures. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: • Self-starter, team player with a good safety awareness • Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift Preferred Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED preferred • Previous experience in welding or weld training preferred Working Conditions: • May be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area • Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs. • Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors daily. • PPE required: Hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves The anticipated pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.50, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context. Mig/Tig Welder - Full-time / Part-time

A local company is looking for a TIG welder for their 1st shift. Starting pay for this position is $22.19/hr. This individual will be doing Gas Tungsten Arc Welding or referred to by its subtypes as TIG. (Tungsten Inert Gas) This individual will be TIG welding aluminum parts, as well as using hand tools and measuring devices to build aluminum boats. This person must be able to follow instructions and work with other people. Essential Job Functions: (responsibilities, duties and standards of the position, including supervisory level and reporting relationship) 1. Perform housekeeping on a daily basis to maintain a safe work environment. 2. Welding aluminum parts of various thicknesses and alloys. 3. Read measuring devices such as tape measures and squares. 4. Use some power tools, such as grinders, sanders, drills, and pop riveters. 5. Responsible for the quality of the work you do. 6. Work quick under pressure and able to work overtime. 7. Work in a warm environment of up to 100 degrees or over. Qualifications and Skills: (in terms of experience, education & training) 1. Observe all safety rules in performance of duties. 2. Skilled in TIG welding of aluminum. 3. Need some knowledge of how to assemble things. 4. Must be able to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time. 5. Capable of working in a loud environment. 6. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 7. Must be able to use hands and wrists frequently. 8. Must be able to work safely. 9.
