About the position Responsibilities • Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on critical components for level products. • Read and interpret complex blueprints and work instructions. • Perform quality checks and continuously inspect materials and production to ensure products meet ABB's high standards. • Hydrostatically pressure test welds for leaks and make necessary repairs. • Assist Lead or Supervisor with various tasks and training others as needed. • Support production with other duties as required. Requirements • 2 years of experience as a TIG (GTAW) Welder welding thin gauge .020" to .050" Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to set up and operate standard welding equipment, setting amps, polarity, gasses, etc. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
