Job Function: Supply Chain & Operations The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling overall Manufacturing programs. Responsible for the Wire Braiding, Spiral Winding, Rubber Tube Extrusion, Plastic Mandrel Extrusion and Mandrel Inspection & Preparation Provide leadership and commitment in supporting continuous improvements in safety quality, delivery, and cost (productivity) performance through the deployment of continuous improvement framework. Participate in and support assigned Value Stream team as well as manages global plant projects. Support and champion Environmental Health and Safety projects to promote a Zero Incident Safety Culture. Manage all assigned projects in support of division, plant, and project objectives. Develop approaches to solving problems in processes, tooling, equipment, facilities and cost. Develops plans, details and implements the required industrialization methods, tooling and equipment for the manufacturing operation. Control manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities to meet Federal and State Regulations. Develop and implement cost reductions to meet or exceed departmental and plant goals. Provide support to Quality Programs to improve product, process and procedural integrity.
