Mig Welder

Job Opening: MIG Welder Location: Tulsa, OK Job Overview We’re looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. In this role, you will lay out, fit, and weld metal components using MIG and Metal Core techniques. You’ll work with stainless and structural steel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders • Cut and prepare metal parts using fabrication tools • Perform multi-pass and full penetration welds • Repair and reassemble metal components • Mark and layout weld points on steel materials Qualifications • 3–5 years of welding and fitting experience • Proficient in MIG, Flux Core, and Metal Core welding • Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety protocols • Experience with stainless and structural steel • Stick welding experience is a plus Benefits • Medical and dental insurance • Paid holidays • 401(k) with 6% company match • Supportive team environment focused on safety and growth Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Key Responsibilities JOB DESCRIPTION • Assist in performing welding tasks under supervision using GMAW and FCAW processes. • Prepare materials, set up welding equipment, and clean weld joints. • Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Operate crane, forklift and band saws. • Support fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal components. • Inspect welds for quality and accuracy with guidance from senior welders. • Maintain tools and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition. • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and adherence to NOV and OSHA standards. • Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred • Basic understanding of welding techniques and tools (school or on-the-job training preferred). • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality workmanship. • Strong willingness to learn and take direction from experienced welders. • Ability to lift and move up to 50lb materials safely. • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude. • Completion of a welding trade program or certification course (AWS or equivalent). • Hands-on welding experience (internship, school project, or entry-level role). • Familiarity with basic fabrication tools and measurement equipment.
