The ideal candidate will have experience with welding and fabrication various types of metal and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of steel materials according to blueprints and specifications. Safely operate welding machines, grinders, and other equipment used in steel fabrication. Ensure quality of welds and fabrications by adhering to industry standards Maintain and submit written inspection logs and reporting requirements promptly to the main office Conduct daily inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation of all welding equipment and operations per OSHA 1910 & 1926/MSHA 30CFR safety industry standards Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE as required by company and OSHA/MSHA Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed while staying committed to identifying safety hazards and making appropriate corrections to eliminate any unsafe condition that could arise during repairs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines Actively support the company's commitment to safety while performing any assigned task Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, completion of a welding program or technical training is preferred Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in welding and fabrication preferably in a steel mill, mining, or manufacturing environment Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Strong knowledge of welding materials and their properties Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to maintain a safe work environment Good communications skills and a strong team player Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying work and weather conditions If you are a detail-driven professional looking for a dynamic work environment, we encourage you to apply!
