We are looking for full-time Welders/Fabricators at our Tonawanda, NY location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw materials into finished goods, using your skills in heavy industrial welding and fabrication to meet and exceed project specifications Responsibilities • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements. • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in compliance with safety standards. • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to project specifications. • Primary welding processes performed MIG, TIG, Flux Core, RMD. • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning. • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and repair defects. • Cut and shape metal materials using various cutting tools such as plasma cutters and oxy-fuel torches. • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues. • Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project. • Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards. • Adhere to company and industry safety regulations during all welding and fabrication activities. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder). • Minimum of 1 year of experience in large industrial welding and fabrication. • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. • Strong knowledge of metal properties and best welding practices. • Experience with operating hand and power tools relevant to welding. • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers. • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments. • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures. • Ability to lift heavy objects and materials as required. Welder/Fabricator - 2nd Shift (3:30pm -12:00am)

Welder | Fabricator – 2nd Shift | GTI Fabrication Company Overview GTI specializes in design, engineering, fabrication, and deployment of custom modular structures, shipping container-based solutions, and ballistic metal fabrication. We serve DOD contractors, military, disaster relief, and commercial markets, with all solutions built in-house at our Buffalo, NY facility. Our manufacturing capabilities range from military training enclosures, live fire ranges, bathroom/shower units, expeditionary camps, medical facilities, water treatment systems, and energy storage enclosures. Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our 2nd shift team (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). This position involves precision welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and material assembly to build high-quality structures according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Welding • Welders will perform fit-up, tack welding, and final welding on steel channels, brackets, angles, sheathing, and assemblies. • Weld components using GMAW, GTAW, and other welding processes in multiple positions (3G vertical up, 4F overhead). • Welders will use hand and power shop tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials. • Align and clamp components for accurate welding and fabrication. • Operate angle grinders, torches, and plasma cutters to prepare parts. • Welders will perform machinery repairs by welding and filling gaps as needed. Blueprint Reading & Quality Control • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to ensure accurate assembly. • Welders will conduct measurements, inspections, and quality checks to verify tolerances and dimensions. • Identify and correct fabrication mistakes, incorporating approved design changes when necessary. • Welders will meet production schedules, quality standards, and labor hour requirements. Safety & Equipment Maintenance • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace. • Ensure all welding equipment is in proper working condition. • Wear protective clothing and safety gear, including gloves, face shields, and welding masks. Structural Welder Technician (Buffalo, NY; Caledonia, NY; ...)

COMPENSATION: $20-$50 based on experience Weekly per diem checks issued where room and board is applicable. Summary of Position: Structural Field Welders responsibilities involve performing proper lay out, fit up of steel plate, beams and various metal components. Must be able to use basic hand tools including grinders, torches, saws to ensure proper fit up of metal components. The Field Welder must possess a basic understanding of mathematics, blueprint reading, as well as general welding knowledge. Welders must be comfortable working from heights to include welding out of position for extended periods of time. Individuals must be able to pass 3G & 4G SMAW welding test on 1" plate after hire. Duties & Responsibilities: • Works at heights for extended periods of time (Must pass Climbing and Climber Rescue tests to earn Certifications) • Welds in horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Ensures safety standards are met at all times • Complete work and maintain high quality standards • Preps steel for welding and fitment • Selects proper size and type of welding electrodes to ensure penetration and complete fusion of base and filler metals Competencies/ Qualifications: • Working knowledge of different metals and alloys commonly used. • Must have the mechanical and technical knowledge and skill to perform operator maintenance on all equipment pertinent to the position. • Knowledge of or ability to learn Patriot Towers, Inc. acquisition procedures and practices. • Must take and follow detailed instructions • Ability to understand basic and intermediate steel fabrication and installation. Education/ Experience: • High School Diploma / GED • 1-3 Years related experience • Certified Welder 3G & 4G • OSHA 10hr Certification (company will provide) Basic Abilities: • Basic math, reading, writing and computer skills • Must be able to use common sense and solve problems independently Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift and or move up to 50lbs independently.
