American Welding & Gas is seeking a dynamic Delivery Driver / Counter Sales at our Cody, WY branch. This position involves driving and delivering plus responsibilities for helping customers purchase and order products focusing on gases and welding/industrial supplies. Driver Duties • Provide cylinder and bulk deliveries, loading/unloading trucks. • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations (Hazmat, OSHA, DOT). • Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork. • Occasionally perform overnight trips. Counter Sales Duties • Assist walk-in customers with their needs and provide product information. • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. • Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as necessary. • Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. • Assist in the preparation of quotes and orders for customers. • Ensure all sales and customer interactions are conducted in a professional manner. Qualifications • Delivery Driver: • CDL Class B with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements. • Clean driving record (3+ years). • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Counter Sales: • Ability to read and write English. • Ability to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.). • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment, and company-administered road test. • Ability to communicate effectively with customers. • Experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
