Other duties may be assigned. • Successfully demonstrate proficient welding capabilities during weld test. • Set and operate welding equipment. • Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. • Examine work pieces for defects and ensure conformance with specifications. • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and work orders. • Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools. • Follow all company safety rules and practices. Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
