Job Overview We are URGENTLY hiring 8-10 experienced welders in Idaho Falls Steel Fabrication Warehouse. Must have welding certificates and references. We are currently needing to stock up our night crew but there will be some possiblility for day shift down the road. Current openings are 3:30pm-2:00am. What you’ll do • Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute precise fabrication tasks. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to shape materials. • Conduct pipe threading and assembly tasks while adhering to ASME codes and standards. • Operate cranes and forklifts safely to transport materials around the construction site. • Measure components using calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in fabrication. • Engage in rigging activities to support heavy lifting during assembly processes. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot mechanical issues and enhance workflow efficiency. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong focus on welding techniques. • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and soldering techniques. • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes. • Experience working with ductwork fabrication and assembly. • Ability to perform basic math calculations for precise measurements. • Knowledge of machining processes is a plus.
