In this role, you will be ensuring our production needs are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Objectives & Responsibilities: • Use MIG welding techniques to join metal. • Join prefabricated pieces using proper welding techniques to meet job specifications. • Fabricate and adjust pieces as necessary. • Understanding of basic metallurgy to allow for proper prep and finish of welded metals. • Ability to read and understand a variety of blue prints. • Use measurement and math skill to ensure quality of precision of projects. • Use forklifts and other lifting/moving devices to maneuver projects. • Use grinder to properly finish materials. • Other tasks as assigned/required. Key Qualifications: • Previous experience preferred. • Must be able to work in shop floor environment, able to sit, stand, balance, stoop, kneel, walk, and use tools and controls. • Frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds. • Has Basic experience of welding, using grinders and welding tools, including tape measure. • Weld some parts without a fixture.
