Key Responsibilities: • Perform welding and fabrication tasks using MIG, TIG, or other welding techniques. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions • Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding • Operate welding machines, hand tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise and high-quality welds • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring proper function and cleanliness • Follow all company safety protocols and participate in regular safety training • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals • Assist in other metal fabrication tasks as needed • Other duties as assigned Requirements: Qualifications & Skills: • High school diploma or equivalent required; AWS welding certification or technical training preferred • Proven experience in welding, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Experience using hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and welding equipment • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods • Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety regulations and procedures Work Environment & Conditions: The Welder works in a production environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and welding fumes. Requires extended periods of standing, bending, and manual labor. Heavy lifting, maneuvering metal components, and handling tools are part of daily tasks. PPE including welding helmets, gloves, fire-resistant clothing, steel-toed footwear, and safety glasses, must be worn in designated areas.
