Responsibilities • Startup and commissioning of PV systems • Diagnose and repair of solar inverters/arrays • Microinverters/other inverter replacements and troubleshooting • Monitoring and networking troubleshooting • Ability to maintain daily reports and communication • Understanding of physical solar installations • Completing evaluations and on-site assessments, including the ability to perform or learn to perform on-site surveys • Travel approximately 60% of the time with return home daily Qualifications • Proven track record of integrity. • 5+ years of experience in installing and servicing solar systems • Ability to collaborate effectively to ensure smooth and compliant operations. • Must be a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to to field service calls from CRM/Dispatch for customers with solar system issues. Issues may range from assessment, scheduling, estimating repairs, customer agreement, service/repair, close out. • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and provides excellent customer experience to homeowners and commercial property owners. • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, with a clean motor vehicle record, regional travel is often required • Must have the ability to climb ladders/stairs to physically remove, replace or repair solar panels, in both hot and cool climates • Completes necessary paperwork, timekeeping and inventory processing for all service call, as well collecting payment for services rendered and completes jobs disposition form after every call • Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs. Compensation The compensation range for this position is $25-$40 per hour, based on experience. This position is full-time (40 hours a week) and on-site in our Gainesville office.
