Description The PayOli Solar Installer is responsible for assisting, organizing, and performing equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module arrangement. In this role, the team values quality, safety and production. As a solar installer, you value and service your customers in helping them switch efficiently to solar. Responsibilities: • Layout, assembly, and installation of the solar array and mounting system. • Assist with the electrical wiring of the products. Prepare and clean up the jobsite. • Provide exceptional customer service, to every customer, throughout the installation process with a professional appearance and attitude. • Additional duties may be required as needed. Qualifications: • 2+year(s) prior experience in solar installation/roof work including rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs, and performing repetitive duties such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time is preferred. • General construction/framing or electrical experience is a plus. • Ability to lift50-100 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday. Position Overview As an Installations Technician at Terra Energy, you will be responsible for the hands-on installation and setup of solar energy systems, electrical components, and related infrastructure. Electrical System Integration Electrical Wiring and Connections Perform electrical wiring for solar systems, ensuring all connections are secure and meet safety and electrical standards. Install AC and DC electrical components including inverters, disconnects, and grounding systems. Perform testing of electrical systems to confirm proper operation and safety. Troubleshooting and Maintenance Troubleshoot and repair electrical and system issues as needed, ensuring system performance is optimized. Identify and address electrical system malfunctions, making repairs or adjustments as required to meet performance standards. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of solar systems to ensure long-term functionality and safety. Documentation and Reporting Complete Installation Reports Document the details of each installation, including system configuration, equipment used, and any issues encountered during the installation process. Track and Report Progress Communicate daily or weekly progress to the project manager or team lead, including updates on site readiness, installation status, and any potential delays.
