Key duties include repowering PV systems, maintaining safety protocols, performing preventative maintenance, monitoring performance, and communicating with clients. Job Summary The Operations Technician’s main responsibility is the safe and efficient execution of the MCB Camp Lejeune’s repowering work in Jacksonville, North Carolina , as well as performing operations & maintenance duties for the solar facilities across hep’s operational portfolio. Duties/Responsibilities: • Repowering of PV systems – This will include demolition of old equipment and wiring thereof, fabrication of structural mounting hardware, installation of new equipment (Inverters, Panelboards, Circuit Breakers, Wiring) and commissioning processes. • Maintain a safety-conscious workflow - practice Lock Out Tag Out procedures, keeping clear and thorough communication while working near energized equipment. • Perform repowering preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of all mechanical and electrical components. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or technical certification in related technical field (preferred).
