See More Details >>About the position The Assistant Project Manager (APM) at Sun Tribe Solar plays a crucial role in the Project Management Department, which is responsible for the planning and execution of construction projects under turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreements. This position is office-based and focuses on providing project management support for utility and commercial-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage projects. The APM ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Sun Tribe Solar's high-quality standards. The APM will report directly to a Project Manager and will be involved in various administrative and project management tasks to facilitate the smooth execution of projects. In this role, the APM will prepare and distribute weekly and monthly reports, set up the Procore workspace during project initialization, and maintain various Procore tools to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and best practices. The APM will manage submittal workflows, actively handle requests for information (RFIs), prepare meeting agendas, and ensure that project documents are accurate and accessible. Additionally, the APM will track on-site safety observations and incidents, manage subcontractor deliverables, and support the Project Manager in various capacities, including project planning, risk management, and subcontractor management strategies. The APM will also be responsible for leading the development of necessary permit applications and coordinating the delivery of materials to project sites.
