Job Description: Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced solar field technician to join the team! This position will assist in the install of solar electrical equipment including installing conduit and grounding. Key Responsibilities: • Report to and communicate with the territory area manager regarding project status and other issues. • Mount solar electrical equipment on the sides of homes, installing conduit, grounding, and BOS. • Mounting solar racking on the rooftop of residential homes • Operate up to a 30" walk behind trencher to dig trenches and install conductors and conduit both underground and above ground. • Continuously climb ladders and transport materials from the ground to the roof. • Troubleshoot pre-existing solar systems (both AC and DC) • Utilize a smartphone to obtain photo documentation of all work performed.
