As an Energy Efficiency Lead Technician, you are critical in our mission to both help the environment and save our customers money on their energy bills. The Lead Technician provides energy efficiency solutions to our customers and guides technicians in assisting with providing solutions. The Lead Technician conducts physical site assessments using a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to pressure diagnostic equipment, measuring devices, hand tools, various ladder types and sizes, blower door, combustion safety analysis equipment and protective equipment. Essential Job Functions • Manage Energy Efficiency controls and assist, as needed, with conducting physical site inspections using a variety of equipment and tools including but not limited to: measuring devices, hand tools, various ladder types and sizes, blower door, combustion safety analysis equipment and protective equipment. • Monitor all onsite installations performed by direct or indirect installers and correct any discrepancies. • Analyze failures and take corrective action on an as needed basis based on findings and severity of quality infringements. • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyze and resolve quality and customer service problems; identify trends; recommend system improvements. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of energy efficiency. • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Identify opportunities to better serve customers through the delivery of EE work. • Assist Account Management with technical questions and concerns as needed. Education/Experience • High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences, engineering or architecture is preferred • Building Performance Institute certification required • A minimum of two years of experience in energy efficiency required • Experience with combustion safety analysis equipment required • Customer service experience required • Proficiency with computers and various applications including Google Workspace, Dropbox, and Salesforce (CRM) on various devices (laptop, tablet, and smart phone) • Availability to customer calls on some evenings and Saturdays • Provide and maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record to safely operate a company vehicle • Ability to lift thirty five pounds (35lbs), work at heights and on ladders; and the physical ability to work in tight areas, hot attics, crawl spaces, hatch doors, etc. • Ability to work with fiberglass, cellulose, foam, mastic, and caulk in a safe manner • Ability to work clean and clean-up after completing each job • Ability to travel to Ewing, NJ office several times a month About PosiGen PosiGen is a people-centric, rapidly growing residential solar company committed to making Solar For ALL a reality.
