Job Overview We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Inspection Technician / Solar Designer to support our growing presence in the Delaware and New Jersey area. This is a remote role, with the employee working from home and traveling directly to job sites. The right candidate will be comfortable using design software, working with light electrical systems, and meeting with inspectors on site. You’ll help bridge the gap between design and installation to ensure our projects are accurate, safe, and up to code. Key Responsibilities: • Create residential solar system designs using CAD tools • Perform site visits to gather measurements and verify layouts • Conduct light electrical service work as needed • Meet with local inspectors to coordinate and finalize inspections • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure accurate design execution • Maintain clear and organized documentation What We Provide • Take-Home Company Truck + Gas Card • Remote Work Flexibility – Start your day from home • Travel Within Assigned Region – Focused on NJ and DE • Four 10-Hour Days (Mon–Thurs) – 3-day weekends! • Overtime Pay – 1.5x for hours over 10 per day (tracked via vehicle GPS Requirements • Experience in solar design (CAD or solar-specific platforms like Aurora,) • Working knowledge of residential electrical systems or light service work • Strong understanding of electrical codes or willingness to learn • Able to work independently, manage time well, and communicate clearly • Comfortable with travel throughout NJ and DE • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (Required) Benefits & Perks • Salary Range: $35,360 – $75,000/year, based on experience • Daily Overtime Pay (1.5x for hours over 10/day) • Annual Performance Reviews + Merit-Based Raises • Annual Cost-of-Living (Inflation) Raises • 401(k) Plan with Employer Contributions • Paid Time Off (PTO): • Sick leave starts accruing Day 1 (up to 40 hours/year) • Vacation leave starts accruing after 1 year (up to 40 hours/year) • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance – with employer contributions • Company-Provided Truck & Gas Card • Career Growth Opportunities Join Our Team!
