Description The Service Plumber supports our customers by providing excellent on-site customer service and repair of Heat Pump Water Heaters and Solar Hot Water systems. Responsibilities of this role will consist of general troubleshooting and diagnosis, hot water tank service, repair, replacement, routine maintenance, and inspections. This position will also include installations of new domestic hot water systems in collaboration with our Residential Operations team. This role is accountable for safe and efficient resolution of regional field related repairs and customer satisfaction for regional in person field-related residential service. The Service Plumber will work closely with Customer Care Specialists, Coordinators, Field Service Technicians, and the Field Service Manager to complete outstanding service work and respond to customer's needs. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours per week with occasional on-call responsibilities for emergencies. Responsibilities: • Respond to thermal service calls individually or with support • Diagnose, troubleshoot, communicate with tech support, and complete repairs • Effectively communicate with customers to explain the issue on site as well as steps to address the repair • Update internal service records • Gather all information needed to apply for a warranty claim • Collaborate and clearly communicate with team members to coordinate schedule and customer needs • Collaborate with Residential Operations coordinator and installation manager to install new domestic hot water systems Qualifications: • ME and NH plumbing license • Experience installing and servicing water heaters • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • Strong problem-solving skills • Highly organized and detail oriented • Ability to set and meet priorities • Strong customer service and communication skills • Excellent teamwork skills with ability to foster a positive team environment • Ability to succeed in a fast paced, community environment as well as motivation to work independently • Ability to produce significant output with minimal waste • Comfortable with reaching out to peers and collaborating with supervisors to establish postive working relationships • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions.
