Plumbing Apprentice

Job Description Job Description Universal Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Helper who will work under the direction of our Service Technicians and provide immediate support with making plumbing repairs. This position is full-time. Full-time employees working a minimum 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage effective after an introductory period. Universal Plumbing is a Drug-Free Workplace.  Key Responsibilities Aid our Service Technicians with installation, maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems in residential and commercial spaces Ability to take direction from technician regarding lifting, retrieving supplies, loading and unloading vehicles Show initiative in assisting technicians and learning the trade Immediately report potential issues or failures with repairs directly to the technician on site Qualifications Plumbing experience is not required but a plus! Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment, and/or willingness to learn (i.e. pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, etc.) Good communication and interpersonal skills Must be able to take direction Must be able to be flexible and work with a team Valid driver’s license Clean record from Department of Motor Vehicles  Physical Requirements Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces Ability to lift 80lbs plus.

Residential and Commercial Plumbing Services
