The Licensed Plumber will be responsible for installations, routine maintenance, and inspections associated with commercial plumbing systems, as well as assisting with regular service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems. Key Responsibilities • Utilize core plumbing skills such as using hand tools, plumbing tools, and power tools to perform plumbing installations and repairs (pro-press, threading, soldering, etc.) • Install plumbing equipment and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle as needed • Accurately read blueprints and other technical drawings • Determine the appropriate size(s) and pathway(s) for pipe installations, including accommodating water supply networks and waste drainage systems • Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure they are up to code, meet all building and safety standards, and job specifications are met • Utilize HVAC knowledge for relevant projects and write ups for repair recommendations on jobsites • Assist with service-related tasks for commercial HVAC systems, including preventative maintenance and service calls that require troubleshooting • Perform heavy lifting as needed and adhere to safety protocols • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget • Maintain a clean and organized work environment Essential Qualifications and Competencies Valid driver’s license required • Active plumbing license (journeyman or master) required • Gas License preferred • Rigging certification preferred • OSHA 10 preferred • Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial plumbing preferred • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical drawings • Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Ability to work efficiently • High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrity • Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills • Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team play • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) • Must maintain a company vehicle • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis • U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory • Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license. • A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required. • A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
