Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals. • Design plumbing systems including domestic water, sanitary, storm, natural gas, lab gases, gas/vacuum, specialized waste, and performance-spec fire protection for a variety of manufacturing facilities in the food and beverage, consumer product, life science, and advanced technology industries • Perform pressure loss, pump head, roof drain, fixture unit, water heater, and all other necessary calculations to support system design • Develop construction drawings for domestic water, sanitary, and storm systems, including general notes, plans, riser diagrams, details, and schedules • Interpret and apply industry codes and standards • Develop specifications and review vendor submittals • Conduct on-site assessment and construction progress site visits including reporting • Handle construction administration including submittal reviews, and closeout activities (including record drawings and punch lists) • Respond to construction requests for information • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team What You'll Bring • A minimum of six years of relevant experience executing plumbing design for industrial or commercial facilities • Knowledge of model national plumbing codes, and state and local plumbing codes • Technical competencies in the following areas: • Plumbing fixture count analysis (spreadsheet or vendor software) • Incoming service sizing for domestic water • Sanitary drain and vent sizing • Grease separator sizing and selection • Domestic water booster pump sizing and selection • Compressed air compressor and distribution pipe sizing • High Pressure Compressed Air System (40-Bar) and distribution pipe sizing (preferred) • Lift station sizing and selection (preferred) • Fats, oil, and grease (FOG) treatment systems (preferred) • Facility assessments and system deficiency studies • Permit preparation, bid and construction drawings, and review of work packages • Requests for Information (RFIs) and Field Change Requests (FCRs) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, clients, vendors • Proficiency with Revit, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • A willingness to travel for project requirements including project installation and start-up activities, client meetings, and company sponsored meetings and training • ABS or AS in mechanical or technology engineering from an ABET accredited school • A CPD or CPT Certification • An Engineer in Training certification (preferred) Our culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
