Summary We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our team at JD Home Rentals. This role is essential for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our properties through expert masonry work. The Mason will be responsible for various construction and repair tasks that contribute to the safety and comfort of our tenants. Responsibilities • Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete finishing. • Restore and maintain existing structures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. • Build hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to address repair needs promptly. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Job Description: This position assists with the construction, repair, and maintenance of underground facilities. For compliance with certain jobs, this position may also be recruited from a state construction labor approved apprenticeship program. Job Duties: • Safely operate entry level construction tools and equipment associated with construction activities including trenchers, forklift, tampers, mud-vac, etc. • Digging, backfilling, and all other entry level processes associated with underground construction activities. • Assists with the preparation, installation, and maintenance of cables, conduits, vaults, and pedestals, for copper and fiber cables according to safety regulations and engineering drawings and plans. • Pulls wire associated with low voltage or electrical construction. • Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using hand tools or power tools. • Clean or prepare construction sites. • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
