Underground Construction Foreman

Job description Browning Contractors Inc. is a leading underground construction company for the Central Valley. We are looking for experienced industry leaders with a strong work ethic, ability to lead a team effectively, and willingness to learn. Foreman is responsible for communicating between upper management and crew members. It is vital applicants are confident in problem solving and have a minimum of five years of experience in underground construction. Essential Functions: • Supervises a crew of employees and prioritizes work. • Read and follow plans, material lists and guidelines and apply necessary timelines. • Conduct regular tailgate safety meetings. • Fulfill all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner. • Organize, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames. • Keep track of crew clock in/out times and document reasons for absences or tardiness • Conduct daily morning stretch routines as demonstrated by safety team. • Operate trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various equipment, materials and supplies. • Enforce all company safety policies and procedures. • Enforce all client-required safety policies and procedures. • Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crew member discipline and documentation to be communicated with HR. • Attend mandatory meetings as required. • Even though classified as a foreman, must be able to perform duties of a laborer and/or operator upon demand.
