Construction Site Foreman

We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A construction foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. This is NOT an entry level position, work experience in Construction is required. Facility Operations and Commercial Construction

Initially the Technician will work side by side with other crew members to perform a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled repair and maintenance tasks. When familiarity of the properties is gained and proficiency exhibited, Technician will work independently or with team members when multiple technicians are needed on any particular task. Technician shall also participate on commercial building remodel projects depending on skills. Requirements: 5+ years experience in facility operations/maintenance mechanic or a trade noted above is required. Specific experience as an electrician, plumber, painter, drywaller, water and fire damage technician, low voltage technician, finish or general carpentry beneficial. Ideal candidate must be interested in learning a wide range of building repair and maintenance skills. Our crew members must be multi-talented and interested in learned additional skills. We do not expect our team members to know how to do everything, but do expect all to be interested and capable of advancing their skills and gaining professional worth. Technician must exhibit a good attitude, enjoy working with other team members to get the job completed. No "lone wolves" please. Relatively clean driving record - no DUI's. Be in very good physical condition and ability perform heavy work from time to time. Most tasks are moderately physically challenging but from time to time, there is hard physical work to be done. Transportation: Applicant must have own truck capable of traveling from site to site reliably. Mileage reimbursed at $ .55 per mile for distance driven between jobs. Company truck may be provided after a period of time. Work hours: Generally 40 hours per week, M-F 7:00 - 4:00 with occasional evening or weekend overtime. Overtime work, typical on Saturday's occurs 1 or 2 times a month. Overtime paid at time and a half rate.
