About the position At Guy F. Atkinson Construction, we are seeking skilled Cement Masons at various levels, including Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman. Our Cement Masons play a crucial role in the construction process, engaging in a variety of tasks that are essential for the successful completion of concrete projects. Responsibilities include chipping, patching, grinding, and setting all concrete forms and perimeter forms, which encompass catch basin structures and drain inlets. Additionally, Cement Masons will be responsible for setting curb forms and planks, establishing lines, stakes, and grades, as well as setting screeds, which includes screed pins. The role also involves cutting, scoring, and sawing new concrete, plugging and filling Shee-Bolt holes, dry packing concrete, and tending to material hoses for slabs, floors, and decks. Other tasks include tending mixer-truck chutes on slabs, floors, and decks, bush hammering, patching and sacking, and operating various rodding machines such as bid well and bull floating. Furthermore, all Cement Masons will be involved in Concrete Polishing and Pervious Concrete work. For those in the Foreman position, additional responsibilities include supervising, coordinating, and scheduling a crew of three or more Cement Masons. Construction Site Foreman

We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A construction foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. Underground Construction Supervisor
