About the position Responsibilities • Chipping, patching, and grinding concrete. • Setting all concrete forms and perimeter forms, including catch basin structures and drain inlets. • Setting curb forms and planks, and establishing lines, stakes, and grades. • Setting screeds, including screed pins. • Cutting, scoring, and sawing new concrete. • Plugging and filling Shee-Bolt holes. • Dry packing concrete and EMBECO. • Tending material hose of slabs, floors, and decks. • Tending mixer-truck chute on slabs, floors, and decks. • Bush hammering, patching, and sacking concrete. • Rodding, tamping, and operating bid well and similar types of rodding machines. • Bull floating and performing all Cement Mason work associated with Concrete Polishing and Pervious Concrete. • Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling a crew of three or more Cement Masons (for Foreman role). Requirements • Experience as a Cement Mason (Apprentice, Journeyman, Foreman, or General Foreman). • Ability to perform various concrete tasks including setting forms and finishing work. • Knowledge of concrete polishing and pervious concrete techniques.
