Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Masonry Laborer to join our team and grow in the masonry trade. In this role, you will support masons by preparing and delivering materials and assisting with daily tasks that keep projects moving efficiently. This is a hands-on position where you will work alongside experienced masons, gaining valuable skills and on-the-job training that can lead to advancement in the masonry industry. Responsibilities 1. Journeyman Mason

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Journeyman Mason to join our team and take ownership of quality, efficiency, and leadership on the job site. In this role, you will perform advanced masonry tasks with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality while maintaining productivity. This is a hands-on role. Responsibilities 1. Quality, Efficiency, and Production: The Basics of Leadership What winning looks like: Your production and quality should be second nature. We never sacrifice quality for production, but production and efficiency should be common practice. • Quality should be the primary focus; however, you should be efficient enough to be able to install enough materials to meet project standards every day. • You should be able to establish bonds and patterns without guidance from Team Leaders. Setting up story poles, building leads, and basic layout should be within your skill set. • You should be more efficient and productive than any apprentice. Material placement into the wall or patio should be a priority. • Quality focus: Walls are straight and level, tooling is high quality, pavers are flat and level, limestone sills and caps are straight and level, flashings and prep work are completed at the highest level of quality. 2. Be Coachable and Be a Good Coach. Be a Good Communicator. • Communication should be a priority • You should be coaching the younger and less experienced staff to help them grow and become more valuable to the company and better at what they do • Do the right thing even when no one is looking. Prep work and finish work are done correctly at all times • Setting sills, quoin corners, masonry details proficient with little to no instruction. Setting limestone fireplace surrounds, limestone details, cast stone details, stone details, or any masonry details should be in your skillset. 3. 12W Carpentry and Masonry Specialist

Job Description Expand your construction skills and join the Army National Guard as a Carpentry and Masonry Specialist. You'll gain extensive, hands-on experience in the construction and maintenance of rigging devices, building layout, framing, and fabrication, and assisting in combat engineer missions. Through the use of your basic carpentry and masonry skills, your responsibilities will involve general heavy carpentry, structural steel, and masonry duties that include the fabrication, erection, maintenance, and repair of rigging devices, trusses, and other structural assemblies. Job Duties • Assist in the performance of combat engineer missions Some of the Skills You'll Learn • Basics in concrete technology, materials, proportioning, and control tests • Proper use of finishing tools • Edging, jointing, curing, and protection • Basics in structure foaming, roofing, and flooring Helpful Skills • Enjoy doing physical work • Interest in science and math • Preference for working outdoors • Interest in working with your hands Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career in commercial and residential construction as a mason, carpenter, cement mason, concrete finisher, drywall installer, or ceiling tile installer. If you achieve an advanced level, you could hold positions such as foreman, shift manager, field supervisor, or inspector. Earn While You Learn Instead of paying to learn these skills, get paid to train. In the Army National Guard, you will learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. After 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you will learn fundamental Soldiering skills, you will attend nine weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT), which includes a combination of hands-on and classroom training. As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities. Advanced Carpentry and Masonry Specialists take on more challenging projects, including training and supervising other Soldiers.
