We are seeking a team-focused and results-oriented Construction Observer who is looking to be a significant contributor to the execution of municipal projects. Primary Responsibilities: • Provide construction observation services for municipal projects • Oversee and coordinate contracted services, including survey and material testing • Document and verify adherence to project specifications (daily log, quantities, submittals, etc...) • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and property owners regarding project scope, timelines, and related project issues • Coordinate roadway design project plans with associated utility companies Required Qualifications: • High School diploma or GED • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction observation or equal combination of formal education and applicable experience • Previous municipal construction experience (i.e. storm/sanitary sewer, watermain, paving, grading, etc…) Preferred Qualifications: • Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management • Completion of Wisconsin DOT certifications (PCC1, PCC2, Aggregate Tech, HMA Sampler, etc…) • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel Why Foth: Established Reputation: With over 85 years of success, we are proud to be 100% member-owned.
