POSITION OVERVIEW The Construction Worker at Sky Valley Resorts will be responsible for setting park models, installing permanent enclosures (PEs), and performing a variety of construction-related tasks, including electrical, plumbing, framing, and general maintenance. This role requires technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with resort standards. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Set up and install park models, ensuring proper leveling, anchoring, and utility connections. • Construct and install permanent enclosures (PEs), decks, stairs, skirting, and other structural additions. • Perform electrical work, including wiring, panel installation, and troubleshooting. • Install and repair plumbing systems, including water lines, sewer connections, and fixtures. • Conduct framing, drywall, painting, and other carpentry tasks as needed. • Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to complete projects accurately. • Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues, coordinating with management and contractors as needed. • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards. • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and guests. • Perform any other job duties as assigned. Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials. • Ability to safely operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery. • Understanding of electrical and plumbing systems, including troubleshooting and repairs. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project needs. • Good organizational and verbal communication skills. • Hard-working and willingness to take direction and complete tasks efficiently. • Basic computer skills, including email and work order documentation. Required Licenses/Certifications • Valid driver’s license. • OSHA safety certification is a plus.
