Job Overview: We are currently looking for Concrete Laborer - Forman to join our team in Cadillac, MI. Pay starts at $18 to $30 per hour, based on candidate qualifications and experience. As a Concrete Construction – Laborer, you will: Be responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks that include installing, leveling and finishing concrete surfaces by using a variety of hand and power tools. Will need to possess the ability to do finishing work at a high level of perfection, and even focus on safety. If you are strong in communication, decision-making and have the right attitude, this can be an amazing opportunity to develop exceptional skills in carpentry and operating heavy equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed and secure. • Assist team with prep on pour sites including excavating and grading, as needed • Place concrete material using a concrete rake, flat end shovel and/or hand float. • Managing the expectations of the Customer at all times. • Load and unload equipment from trailers and vehicles. • Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
