Description/Job Summary SAFETY SENSITVE POSITION Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime and callouts as needed including weekends. Job Summary: Responsible for maintenance and construction of facilities used to store, dry and mill rice products in addition to grounds preparation and concrete construction. Successful applicants should be aware of construction site safety rules and able to contribute to a team-based work environment. Basic Qualifications • Must be willing and able to cut, weld, and operate machinery such as forklifts and sky tracks. • Must possess extensive skills in hand and power tools. • Must be willing and able to lift up to 110 lbs. • Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day. • Must be willing and able to ride man-lifts. • Must be willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet. • Must be willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time • Must be willing and able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. • Must be available for callouts at all times during harvest season and be able to respond within 35 minutes. • Must be able to do basic math (+, -,*, /) and read a tape measure. • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle. • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. • Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). • Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules. • Other duties as requested by supervisor.
