Position Overview: The Highway Construction Crew Laborer performs a variety of manual tasks involved in highway construction, including preparing job sites, handling equipment and materials, and supporting paving operations. Key Responsibilities: • Perform general construction-related labor tasks across all phases of highway construction. • Prepare, clean, and maintain construction job sites. • Safely use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and brooms. • Operate power tools (jackhammers, earth tampers, pavement breakers) under supervision. • Assist with traffic control and safety procedures as needed.
