We are looking for a Foreman for our Civil Division to join our team. Projects will include road work, rehab, storm drains and milling and repaving. The Civil Foreman is a working supervisor of an assigned crew who oversees all aspects of the projects to which he/she is assigned along with the Superintendent. The successful Foreman will plan the daily activities and delivery of materials while continuing to look ahead to maintain work flow, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product with a CAN DO attitude. As a Construction Foreman, you will: • Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote the safe, efficient and timely construction of the project. • Ensure that construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained. • Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports. • Will work alongside his/her crew to ensure a timely completion of work assignments. • Will develop and maintain a proper crew attitude by leading by example. • Monitor compliance by all employees under his/her supervision with all Company policies Experience: • 5 years (Required) in the civil construction industry • 1 year (Required) in a leadership role in the construction industry Requirements: • Able and willing to travel • Valid Driver’s License • Must be a good communicator, motivator and team player • OSHA 10 Certificate • Demonstrate Gregory Construction’s Core Values of Safety, Integrity, Excellence, Determination and Communication at every level Work Location: • Multiple locations-travel required This full-time position will include paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance and a company matched 401K as well as other perks.
