Job Title: Concrete Journeyman Location: Alice, TX 78332 | Kingsville, TX 78363 Position Type: Temp to Hire Pay Rate: • Journeyman: Starting at $20-$22 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: • 12 days on, 2 days off work rotation • Week 1: Monday through Sunday • Week 2: Monday through Friday Job Description We are seeking experienced and motivated Concrete Journeymen to join our team. The ideal candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions accurately, and contribute to the successful completion of concrete projects. This position offers competitive pay, the opportunity for per diem if applicable, and potential for long-term employment. Responsibilities • Perform concrete pours, placement, and finishing work. • Complete formwork, rebar installation, and related concrete construction tasks. • Prepare and maintain work areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness. • Operate hand tools and equipment safely and effectively. • Follow project specifications and ensure quality standards are met. • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule. Requirements • Must have hand tools • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. • Strong attention to safety and detail. • Previous experience in concrete work is required. Per Diem Information • If the job site is over 100 miles from your residence, you may qualify for per diem. • To qualify, proof of residency is required (utility bill, lease contract, or mortgage).
